General Manager Position Available – 15th June application deadline

After three years in post, Simon Miller has decided to step down from the General Manager position of the Alliance. Simon has done an excellent job, significantly growing the Alliance membership and enabling leaps forward in the development of the Cool Farm Tool. The CFA Executive Committee and members pass on their thanks, and wish Simon the best for his future work in the sustainability sector.

We are now looking for candidates for the General Manager role, to lead the Alliance into the next stage of development. It is an exciting, dynamic role working with leading organisations pursuing sustainable agriculture, and overseeing the evolution and international deployment of the Cool Farm Tool with farmers worldwide. The attached job description details the experience required, as we seek a new leader to develop the CFA strategy; work in partnership with our members; communicate and promote the CFA with external stakeholders; and oversee the Alliance operations and the wider team. The role is proposed as 60% full time equivalents working on a contract basis at a competitive rate of remuneration.
