The Cool Farm Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Profit as the General Manager of the Alliance, with effect from 8th October.  Richard comes from PepsiCo where he has worked for sixteen years in a variety of roles in operations and sustainability strategy.  With experience in renewable energy, carbon accounting, compliance and policy, as well as Life Cycle Assessment, he has been significantly involved in the development and leadership of PepsiCo’s global sustainability strategy.

Beyond his corporate experience, Richard has led and participated in a number of wilderness expeditions taking him to Africa, South America and the North Pole; and since completing a Masters Degree in Sustainability & Responsibility in 2012 has been involved in ongoing action research to explore adaptive leadership and the role of dialogue, relationships and collaboration to catalyse sustainable change. Richard believes in a world in balance that meets the needs of our ecological systems as well as humans and organisations.
